In many municipalities there are winter parking bans in place to make it easier for snow removal crews to get rid of the nasty white stuff. Also, in many, snow or not, parking on the street during those times will get you a ticket.

So, check your local by-laws and make sure that winter beater of yours doesn't get towed. The last thing anyone wants to do is take the summer car out in the middle of the winter in order to get to work.
